The Oaks at Kincheloe Golf Course (formerly The Kincheloe Memorial Golf Course) is a 7,000+ yard, Championship layout golf course located in the Northern part of Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula. Once a 9-Hole layout originally constructed by the United States Air Force back in the 1960's, The Oaks at Kincheloe was then transformed into an astounding 18-Hole facility in the mid 1980's by Kinross Charter Township. This par 72 Championship golf course lies in the heart of the former Kinross Air Force base, and is now the recreational centerpiece for Kinross Township. The Oaks is municipally owned by Kinross Charter Township and is a public course operated under the supervision of the Township Board.

August 7th - 10th, 2007, the Upper Peninsula Golf Association Men's Championship was hosted by The Oaks at Kincheloe. The course is equipped with a full driving range, chipping/putting green, motorized cart/pull cart/club rentals available. The Oaks Pro Shop is the Eastern UP's only fully stocked pro shop carrying brand names such as: Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway, Nike, Adidas, Cobra, FootJoy, Odyssey, Cleveland, Mizuno, Bridgestone, Orlimar among others with Fitting Services available. Our clubhouse facility also features The Bunker Bar/Grill for all of your food and beverage needs.

The Oaks at Kincheloe is one of the UP's finest tests in golf and we hope to have you join us for a round of golf this coming season.

DIRECTIONS
From the Lower Peninsula go north on I-75 across the Mackinac Bridge then thirty five miles North to exit 379. From Sault Ste. Marie, go south to exit 379. Turn East on GAINES HWY. continue five miles to Tone Road. Turn right, continue half mile to Country Club Drive. Turn right, continue one mile to Woodside Drive. Turn left, continue one half mile to the Clubhouse.
